The North Sea Oceanarium expands its mobile experiences

The brand new sperm whale exhibition at The North Sea Oceanarium has just premiered and the exhibition was opened in style when the centre’s protector Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg, arrived with her family. The two princes Nikolai and Felix were the first to experience the exhibition, and they had a big smile on their faces when “Dr. Hvaalspeck” told about the sperm whale.

The North Sea Oceanarium has already great success with its Bluetooth download wall, and the new exhibition also offers the guests mobile experiences. The visitors can download fun animated movies with the sperm whale and in addition the exhibition also involves the guests in a whole new way by asking them to submit their own suggestion about why sperm whales so often strands. The guests must submit their suggestion via SMS by sending the keyword Nordsø (North Sea) followed by the sub keyword hval (whale) followed by their suggestion to the short code 1231.

The most creative and innovative bids on why the sperm whales strands will be displayed on the oceanariums homepage. 10 year old Caroline was the first to submit and suggested that the sad whale probably get stranded because of a broken heart.
